Our Story
Rooted in California. Shaped by craft. Inspired by possibility. Founded in 1939 by Harry Liss, West Coast Industries began with a single vision: to create furniture that serves people and elevates the spaces they live and work in. For over eight decades — including years under the leadership of Ron Liss — WCI remained a family-owned business, known for its commitment to quality, collaboration, and design that dares to be different.

A New Legacy
From premium tables to bespoke seating, our work has long supported the contract and hospitality industries, carrying stories of connection and creativity. Our reputation was built not only on mastery of materials, but on a willingness to challenge convention and embrace the unexpected.
In 2023, WCI joined Ergonom Corporation — a fellow family-owned business — and relocated to a new headquarters and production facilities in Oxnard, California. This move marked a meaningful new chapter: one that honors our legacy while expanding our reach. Together, we’re deepening our commitment to sustainability, designing products with lasting impact, and upholding ethical practices — all while continuing to push the boundaries of what design can do.
What Sets Us Apart
Today, WCI stands at the intersection of tradition and reinvention. We build with integrity, optimism, and a belief that furniture can do more than fill space — it can shape experiences, honor materials, and create a future worth lasting.
